Nirad is a 3rd generation member of the Shah family. Over the past 30 years he has worked in different roles within the organisation and moved to Australia in 2001.

He has led the Australian businesses for the past 15 years. Nirad enjoys building businesses and thrives on taking measured strategic risks with an emphasis on growth.

Laurie served as Group General KPJ Group (Aus) from 2012 until May 2022, and was appointed to the Board in 2015.

He has had a 35-year career with senior roles in Operations and General Management in the Consumer goods sector, including 27 years with Pacific Brands in business such as Tontine, Sleepmaker and Dunlop Foams.

Laurie is pleased to be able to continue to work with the Board in supporting the business and its teams in its growth strategy.

Anita was appointed to the Board in 2024 after an extended engagement as an advisor to KPJ Group.  She is a seasoned people and organisation strategist who specialises in operationalising business strategy and architecting companies for change.

She has an extensive career as an Executive, Non-Executive Director, and strategic advisor across a wide range of organisations and industries.  This includes ICI Australia (now Orica), Carlton & United Breweries, CSR, Just Group, Swann Communications, T2 Tea, Sensand, and Work Healthy Australia.

Russell has been a KPJ Group Director since 2024 and is also a member of the KPJ Asia Pacific Business Advisory Committee.

Russell brings with him deep experience across consumer goods, manufacturing, and retail having held numerous CEO roles with Brands such as Hallmark Cards, kikki.K, Melrose Health, Orchard Manufacturing and SRW Wellness.  He has lived and worked in numerous countries across Asia Pacific, Europe and USA and his career has seen him lead functions as diverse as Information Technology, Supply China, Customer Service, Sales, Strategy, and General Management.

Russell has a passion for working with family and founder owned businesses and unlocking their growth potential.

Adrian is an experienced chartered accountant, who trained in audit and business services with Grant Thornton UK before moving into commercial financial management. He has over 25 years of senior financial leadership roles in privately held and venture capital backed SMEs, with a focus on manufacturing and distribution.

Adrian joined Airstep in 2013 before moving into a group role with KPJ Group in 2016.

Niraj Shah has 35 years of international sourcing and supply chain experience both overseas and in Australia. In his current role as supply manager, Niraj oversees sourcing products and raw materials globally and locally, in addition to managing the shipping and logistics.

He is passionate about enhancing supply chain efficiency and ensuring cohesive partnerships with suppliers internationally.

Steven Pasialis has been in the construction industry for over 15 years working across Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Sourcing & Supply Chain in both the Middle East and APAC regions. In his current role as General Manager, Steve manages both Airstep Australia and sister company Imagine Floors.

He is passionate about building high performing teams and an inclusive work culture through creating a clear vision and purpose.

Paul Verschaeren has been part of the Airstep business for over 2 decades, and is the most experienced of the Airstep leadership team, having fulfilled numerous roles as required within that period.

Paul’s constant link throughout his substantial tenure has been underlay sales. His primary focus has been the Airstep customer.  He has seen the Dandenong site evolve from a standalone natural rubber underlay production facility to PU foam underlay production today, as well as the addition of other initiatives to enhance our business, not least of all Imagine Flooring, which has grown to be an integral part of Airstep as it now continues to adapt to a changing environment.

Kerrie Lazarou has been in the marketing industry for over 15 years. In her current role as Marketing Manager for Airstep Australia and Imagine Floors by Airstep, Kerrie manages all marketing, events and promotional activities.

She is passionate about inspiring and empowering homeowners to create beautiful spaces that match their personality and takes an audience centric approach to everything she does.

Ross is a highly commercial National Sales Manager with a proven track record in the successful leadership and management of teams delivering improved business outcomes within leading organizations.

Passionate about building cohesive cross functional teams, driving top and bottom-line growth, and setting up and working within strategic partnerships, Ross is a self-motivated, results driven and customer focused individual who is well balanced with a diverse skill set covering the trade, retail, commercial and industrial market segments.

Matt Reynolds has been working in Australian manufacturing businesses for 30+ years. In his current role, Matt manages all finance related functions for both Airstep Australia and Airstep Flooring.

Passionate about building strong relationships and committed teams, Matt strives to deliver strong business returns via SMT collaboration – always within a framework of strong accounting controls.

Russel Morgan is Airstep Australia’s Operations Manager. With more than 30 years’ experience working in a diverse range of industries, including footwear & textiles, automotive, consumer, industrial and service industries, Russel‘s focus is on streamlining our operations and driving efficiency through introduction of advanced technological initiatives, and a never-ending pursuit of driving waste minimisation in all facets of what we do and how we do it across our manufacturing, warehouse & logistics environments.

Carol Christensen has been in the polyurethane foam industry for over 30 years and in her current role with Foamco as General Manager for 11 years.  Carol is well respected and has a deep knowledge of the industry.

Tomy is an experienced Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant.

Tomy has over 25 years’ experience in finance and commercial roles in a variety of industries ranging from manufacturing, IT and Construction.

Tomy Joined Foamco in 2007 as the Financial Controller and is currently performing the additional roles as the State manager, Director and heading other functions including group insurance and property management.
